DynamoDB offers two consistency models.

DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) is an in-memory caching service that provides faster read performance for DynamoDB tables, reducing response times from milliseconds to microseconds.

DynamoDB integrates with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for access control. It also supports encryption at rest using AWS Key Management Service (KMS) and encryption in transit using SSL/TLS.

DynamoDB pricing is based on several factors including read and write capacity units, data storage, and optional features like DAX. You pay for the resources you provision and use.
